As the sun peaked over the horizon on the planet Namek, Piccolo stood in front of Guru’s, watching Namek star a new day. Nail walked up to Piccolo and stood beside him, inhaling deeply.

Nail – Do you feel that?

Piccolo – Hmm?

Nail – That energy. It feels like Guru just finished with Slug. Do you think it is time?

Piccolo put his head down and smirked

Piccolo – Yes. Now is a good time, if any. Can you go get him?

Nail – No problem.

Nail ran towards Guru’s as Piccolo raised his head and looked at the sun again, whose warm rays touched Piccolo’s face.

Piccolo – And today is a good day, if any…..

As Nail entered Guru’s chamber, he saw Lord Slug, who was ecstatic with his power increase. He approached him with his arms crossed.

Nail – So “Slug”, I hear you want to join us in S.G.B…..

Lord Slug interrupted Nail before he could finish.

Lord Slug – The names Lord Slug, and yeh, I was thinking about it.

Nail – Well you have to prove to us why you should have that “Lord” title in front of your name. Come outside if you happen to want to prove that.

Lord Slug – Ha! This gives me a chance to try my new power out. Let’s do this.

Lord Slug followed Nail outside to where Piccolo was. As they stepped outside, the bright sun caused Lord Slug to squint briefly.

Lord Slug –  It’s a bright day today.

Piccolo – That just makes your initiation more fun, wouldn’t you say? I hope you are ready!

Piccolo erupted a bright aura around him, causing dust to fly off in every direction. Lord Slug covered his face as the debris corrupted his vision. Before he knew it he was hit in the gut.

Piccolo – Keep your eye on your opponent!

Lord Slug grabbed his stomach in pain. He then began to laugh.

Lord Slug – Oh this is gonna be too good!

Lord Slug then rushed at Piccolo with a few punches, which Piccolo blocked effortlessly.

Piccolo – Guess I have to power down to fight you…. But don’t worry I still won’t take it easy on you!

Piccolo’s aura began to shrink as he was suppressing his energy. He then appeared behind Lord Slug, and, without warning, delivered a spinning kick in Lord Slug’s direction. Lord Slug saw the kick coming and grabbed Piccolo’s leg and in turn delivered a kick to Piccolo’s midsection. He swung Piccolo around and threw him into a group of trees. Suddenly Lord Slug sensed someone coming at him. It was Nail.

Nail – So you didn’t think I’d be involved in this fight?

Nail hit Lord Slug with a hard over head kick, which Lord Slug blocked. The impact from the blow cracked the ground below Lord Slug. Suddenly two arms were seen threading there way through the trees in which Piccolo was thrown in. They grabbed Lord Slug legs and drug him into the trees, tearing the trees down as he hit them. As he rose to his feet from the attack, wiping blood from his mouth, he noticed the arms traced back to Piccolo.

Lord Slug – That was a hell of a sneak attack!

Piccolo chuckled before he sprinted towards Lord Slug, pummeling his midsection. Lord Slug countered with a headbutt, sending Piccolo stumbling back. As Piccolo regained his composure he noticed Lord Slug with a hand in the air. An energy disc began to form .

Lord Slug – Take this!

Lord Slug launched the energy disc in Piccolo’s direction, cutting off his right arm. Piccolo grabbed his arm in pain.

Piccolo – So you managed to get a decent hit on me. I commend you on that. But when you get to my level, there are a few abilities that you happen to pick up.

Piccolo began to yell as an arm shot out from the wound Lord Slug delivered. As Lord Slug stared in amusement, he was kneed in the back of the head by Nail. As he rubbed the back of his head, his attention directed to Nail.  

Lord Slug – You fuck!

Nail flew over to where Piccolo was standing and eyed Lord Slug. Without notice the two flew towards Lord Slug and they both started to throw out punches and kicks, in which Lord Slug tried his best to block. Lord Slug threw an elbow to Nail’s chin, causing him to fly backwards into the tree rubble. He then directed full attention towards Piccolo, hitting him with an elbow and sending him flying. Lord Slug then brought his hands to his side.

Lord Slug – Ka…me…ha…me… HAAAAAA!!!!

The beam traveled towards Piccolo, who happened to stopped himself in mid air. Piccolo stuck his hand out and countered the Kamehameha.

Piccolo – Big Bang Attack!!!!

The ball of energy collided with the beam and caused an explosion, sending Lord Slug to the ground. He rose back up, battered and bruised, but still determined to fight.

Piccolo – I think that’s enough. You’ve shown me what you can do. Nail, what do you think.

Nail slowly got out of the rubble, slightly bloody, and brushed his clothes off.

Nail – I think we have a new Strong Green Brother.
