[FLASHBACK]
Mr. Popo - Food is ready!
Goku - YEEEEAHHH LET"S EAT!!!
Goten stared at his father in disbelief as his father chowed down the banquet that Mr. Popo
just laid on the table.
Goten - Dad... there's steam still coming from the bones!
Goku - You gotta get it while its HOT!*munch* So Goten while we are here together I might
as well tell you this now. *munch munch* I'm not going to be on Earth for a little bit, going to explore this end of the galaxy
and see what kind of training we can get into. *sluuuuurp* But before I leave I'm going to see if I can knock some sense into
your brother and collect some Dragonballs so we will have some in our possesion.....*BUUUUUURPPP*
Goten - Wow dad are you serious?
Goku - ......Now while Piccolo is in the Spirit Chamber I want you to get some more training
in. Remember that we are to protect this planet from evil, and you must train your body to be able to take on anything!
[/FLASHBACK]
Goten, flying through the brisk artic skies, smiled as he honed in on the power level he had
been sensing. As he cleared the treacherous ice mountains of Mt. Zubizumite, he looked towards an open field
that was approaching in the distance. Two figures stood below.
Goten - Got em'!
Goten started his descent, coming in like a jet on the iceberg below him and cracking it.
??????? - Who dare interrupts our training??
???????- Father, step back, let me handle this mon....
Goten interrupted his opponent before he could finish his sentence.
Goten - So I've been feeling you guys power levels gradually going up. And my friend Piccolo
told me one of you is king of this so-called Changeling Empire. I've come here to pretty much show
you guys that if you are thinking about trying something, you best forget about it. And just as an insurance policy I'm going
to give you two something to remember.
?????? - I. the mighty King Kold, will not allow you to speak to me or my son, Prince
Frieza, in that tone. Do you think a mere monkey like yourself will be able to take both of us "entities" on.....
King Kold walked towards Goten while he continued to talk.
King Kold - Are you a fool? Your friend Piccolo had me at a disadvantage, but I myself
have gotten more powerful than when I fought him. You, boy, are at a disadvantage this time.
Goten smiled. Suddenly Frieza's eyes opened wide as he began to shout.
Frieza - Father!! His power level is high!!!!
Without notice Goten rushed King Kold with a flurry of punches, successfully landing each blow
in the gut of King Kold. King Kold staggered back while holding his stomach, blood pouring out his mouth.
King Kold - H....ho.....how???!!
Goten - You know what, this won't be fun if I just trample you two. I just won't hit you
TOO hard.
Goten dug his foot into the mixture of snow and ice he was standing on. He ran
forward towards King Kold, kicking up chunks of slush in his wake. King Kold slowly lifted his finger up towards Goten
in hopes of succeeding in his attack.
King Kold - DEATH BEAM!!!
A laser flashed from his finger and hit Goten dead in the shoulder, causing Goten to spin around
and sent him barreling into King Kold, causing the two to roll along the field. As the two came to a stop, they both slowly
stood to their feet. Goten looked at his shoulder, which was branded with a circular dot.
Goten - Gah! You branded me? What the hell?
King Kold stood up and chuckled. He crossed his arms and started laughing even louder.
King Kold - So my Death Beam didn't pierce you? You must be strong. Nevertheless
the mark of the mighty King Kold will be with you forever.
Goten - You're gonna pay for that.
Goten lifted his hand in the air, summoning an energy disc. He threw it at King Kold, but before
it reached him, a ki blast disrupted its trajectory and sent it crashing in the ground. Suddenly Frieza appeared above Goten
and smacked him with his tail, sending him skittering along the slush. Before Goten could gain his composure, Freiza continued
his assault and delivered a barrage of punches and kicks to Goten, who blocked the majority of the attack, pushing him back
along the ground.
Frieza - Do you really think you are gonna win, monkey? I've already taken one of you
down already!
Frieza started somersaulting throught the air, whipping Goten with his tail with every rotation.
While Goten's attention was focused on Frieza, King Kold appeared above Frieza and shot his Eye Lasers at Goten, which didn't
seem to phase him at all. Without notice King Kold and Frieza attacked Goten simultaneously, sending punch after punch and
kick after kick in Goten's direction. Before Goten had a chance to counterattack, he noticed his arms were wrapped up by the
tails of his opponents, and they both delivered gut punches to Goten, but Goten just smiled after the hit.
Goten - Seems like I've let you two have your fun!
Goten, with his arms still wrapped by King Kold and Frieza, used his hands to grab their tails
and slammed them to the ground with devastating force, sending the two Changelings speeding through the below-freezing waters
from below.
Goten - Guess that's that!
As Goten started to walk away, his eyes opened wide as he sensed King Kold suddenly errupt
from the ice below him. King Kold, battered and bruised, attempted another assault on Goten.
King Kold - No way will I let a mere boy defeat me!
Goten - Man is this getting old....
Goten ducked under one of King Kold punches and tornado kicked him, spinning King Kold through
the air. As King Kold laid there unconscious, Goten breathed a sigh of relief, but not before remembering something very
important.
Goten - Where is the other one at?
Goten suddenly sensed a giant source of energy growing. He looked up in the sky and saw
Frieza, who was charging a Death Ball.
Frieza - I WILL SEND YOU TO THE OTHER WORLD YOU DIRTY MONKEY!!!!
The Death Ball increased in size, and Frieza laughed hysterically as he charged it.
Goten - You know, even if you were to hit me with that, I'd just knock it back at you.
But I won't do that. Instead...
Goten put his hand in the air and moved it down in a fast motion. Frieza's laughter was stopped
as he noticed something coming in his direction.
Goten - ...I'll do this.
Before Frieza knew it, his Death Ball was cut in half from the same Destructo Disk Goten
launched earlier. The now unstable torrent energy caused a huge explosion, sending Frieza plummeting to the ground below,
badly hurt. Frieza laid stretched out on the ground, muttering.
Frieza - St...stupid....stupid monkey.
Goten - Like I said, let this be a warning to you two. Hopefully there won't be a next
time.
